Purpose to find out the deaf disability assessment model. Method: design of this study is qualitative research, namely library research (library research). The information gathered and analyzed comes entirely from literature documentation, such as publications in books, journals, other related media. data collection technique a study, by searching for discussion study. Relevant collected through internet search. analysis uses descriptive techniques. Results: Assessment technic education (formal informal) are distinguished diagnostic, test, evaluation terms general education. aim see condition students their abilities, difficulties, learning needs individually. Conclusion: model follows. (1) Diagnosing barriers (physical: hard hearing/deaf, intellectual, social, emotional, and/or sensory-neurological); (2) Classification, placement, discovery programs; (3) Determine path kids with hearing problems; (4) implementing be used (tests, interviews, observations, student work); (5) Developing grids questions along scoring guidelines; (6) instruments results. Implementation: using appropriate model, teacher can easily trace students' difficulties individually accurately.
